The only sad event is that unfortunately there can only be one winner, in this case, ATLETICO DE MADRID which proclaimed themselves EUROPA LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2011 - 2012 after defeating fellow Spanish Club ATHLETIC CLUB BILBAO 3 - 0. Atletico managed to win the Europa League Cup again with the last time being back in 2010.
